Not that anyone's shocked here, but the third installment of the insanely popular Rock Band series has received some kind of confirmation for a Q4 2010 release.

CEO and president Philippe Dauman has confirmed that Harmonix is working on Rock
Band 3, for release holiday 2010!” Harmonix communications manager John
Drake announced on…where else...Twitter.
