Ladder Rules // September 14th, 2008

General Arena Rules:

 

  • All users and leaders are responsible for learning and understanding the rules set forward by the administrators of this arena. Please read and understand the following rules before accepting or sending challenges. These rules may change at any point without notice, it is your own responsibility to read the rules on a regular basis.
  • When you send or accept a new clan challenge you are agreeing to the rules and regulations that are put in place for that match. Please refer to the rules to handle any problems you may have.
  • If you experience any problems that are not answered in the following rules please submit a ticket to the administration team. Please do not ask or inquire the status requarding a ticket, the administration will respond to you as soon as possible.
  • When you send in a ticket, the administration will form a verdict or a decision best suiting for the situation. These decisions are final and are only negotiable if there is new evidence that appears later on which would require a new ticket being submitted.
  • This site will be based off sportsmanship and friendly gameplay. Players that do not follow these expectations and are out to damage the atmosphere of the gaming community will be dealt with accordingly. The appropriate punishments will be put into place for such users.
  • The staff on hand for this community is trained to handle the situations that may arise during the course of action. Please refrain from abusing the staff members, if they are unable to come to a legit solution they will contact a administrator for the best solution. Staff abuse will not be tolerated, the staff at anytime has the right to refuse to help such users due to staff abuse. Abusing the staff will not be tolerated in flaming forums, tickets, or on Instant Messager. This action can lead to a forfieted match, and also can be dealt with harshly.
  • The community is based on sportsmanship, so abusive behavior towards users will not be tolerated as well as staff. If you are unable to be friendly and respectful to other users then you are subject to removal from the ladder. This behavior should not be expressed through the Forums or common conversation.
  • The leader of the account will be the user who started the account. If the account is needing a clan name change or leader change please submit a ticket to the administration.
  • The users of this site are not allowed to manage more than one account per ladder. This is limit the user of the free win system and users that are found of such actions will be removed from the ladder with a determined ban.
  • Players and users are responsible for checking the rules as they are subject to change. The rules committee is responsible for posting rules that change on the forum under the news section.

 


 

Account Rosters:

 

  • Players that intend to participate in matches on this site have to be on the roster for three hours before becoming elligible. Anytime that a player name is updated or change it will be another three hours before the name will become elligible once more.
  • It is the clan leaders responsiblity for making sure that all players that participate in a match are elligible before the time of the scheduled match.
  • The name on the roster must match exactly, with spacing and characters, but will not be case sensitive.
  • If any clan is to have a clan tag longer then 3 characteristics then that team will lose the map automatically 6-0 no excuses
  • If a ringer name enters the lobby, the team with the ringer has 5 minutes to bench that player and find a replacement. Every map the ringer plays in will be forfeited. If the clan refuses to sit the ringer the match will be forfeited.
  • Any name that contains #C and something following it will be counted as a loss, but you can have #c.
  • Each clan must have the minimum amount of players on the roster to schedule a match. The maximum amount of players are listed below.
    • Clan Ladder: 18 Players
    • Doubles Ladder: 3 Players
    • Singles Ladder: 1 Players
  • A ringer will be classified as one of the following:
    • Name is spelt differently than what is on the GA Roster
    • Name is not on the GA Roster
    • Names that are used by multiple people
    • Name that is not elligible on the GA Roster

 

Challenge Basics:

 

  • A challenge will become official after it is accepted by the challenged clan. Please know the rules before you send the challenge, because once a challenge is accepted the match becomes official.
  • Challenges cannot be made to the same clan more than once in a 3 hour period.
  • When a clan accepts a challenge please understand by accepting the challenge you note that you are going to abide by the rules set forward by the administrators of this arena.
    The notes in the challenge are final and are nonnegotiable.

 

Challenge Settings:

 

  • The following settings will be the basics of each match:
    • Game Name: The name of the game will be submitted by the challenging clan.
    • Game Password: The password to the game will be automatically generated for you.
    • Game Server: The server name will be submitted by the challenging clan.
    • Number of Maps: These will be set to 3 or 5 maps.
    • Round Time: The round time will be set to 6 minutes.
    • Match Maps: These can be chosen, or can be set to random.
    • Spectators: Password must be the same as the match password unless room is made by a staff member.
    • Weapons: All weapons must be turned on, even if restricted.
    • Friendly Fire: On
  • All matches must be made with two extra spots for a possible referee to enter the match. If there is not enough room, a referee cannot enter the room and your clan risks the chance of not being helped.
  • From May 22, 2008 and on you cannot add players to the open notes saying that he can war for your clan. If this is found in the notes and the player is caught player the consequences will be the same as if he was a ringer.

 

Battle Information

 

  • The clan that is ranked closest to #1 will pick which side for the first map, then for the second map the other clan will pick which side. The tiebreaker map will be picked by the clan that has
    won the most rounds on the previous maps, or in the event of a tie in rounds the clan closest to #1 will receive pick. If both teams are unranked the team with the clan ID closer to #1 will pick first.
  • Matches must be played entirely without postponement. If the match needs to be cancelled or postponed then both clans must agree and send in a ticket to have the match removed or moved to
    a later time.
  • Mass Boot Information: 
    • Singles: Either Player
    • Doubles: 1 player from each side
    • Clan: 1/2 players from each side If only one clan loses players the clan will lose the round they were booted on.
  • Relogging: Relogging will be mandatory if asked by any player in the room. Failure or refusal to relog with an altered name will be considered a forfeit. Example GA ->ga

 

No-Show Information

 

  • All clan members have 15 minutes after the scheduled time to report to the match.
  • The clan that does not show up to a match within the alotted time will forfiet the match.
  • When receiving a no show win, you must contact a referee to confirm the no show, also submit a no show ticket while giving the ticket ID number to the referee.
  • A challenge that is accepted after the scheduled time will not be awarded for a no show.

 

Reporting Information

 

  • The losing clan has 30 minutes to report the loss after the completed match.
  • Any clan that does not respond to the no loss reported e-mail will be subject to suspension or ladder ban.
  • The winning clan please do not send in a loss not reported ticket unless it has been 30 minutes since the completed match.

 

Ticket Information

 

  • Please select the appropriate type of ticket to ensure proper execution.
  • Never instant message an administrator about the status of a ticket, the administrators will get to your ticket as soon as possible.
  • Please fill out tickets to the fullest, do not leave out any information to make it as easier for the administrator to make a legit decision.
  • A ticket that is found to be submitted with false information will be looked at as extorsion and the submitting clan subject to a suspension or ban.

 

Cheating Information

 

  • The use of outside communication other than the PS2 headset through the in game console, is strictly prohibited. The use of skype, cell phones, or AOL Instant Messanger will subject you to a entire site ban.
  • The use of glitching is the act of abusing the in game morals, if you are caught cheating or glitching it is a automatic forfeit, and site ban.
  • The free win policy is as stands. If you are found giving free wins to a clan then your clan will be deleted and leader removed from the site.
  • If you have not earned a win that is on your record, please send a ticket to the administration for a win you get that was not earned or played.

 

Referee Information

 

  • If you are in need of in game assistance, and need to be helped our staff is here to help you. The clan is able to contact a referee for questions and help at anytime.
  • Please do not abuse the staff, they are here to help you with your problems. Staff members at any time are at liberty to stop helping you due to the act of staff abuse.
  • If you would like a referee to spectate a match, then you can request a referee ahead of time. Please submit a ticket about 48 hours ahead of time to get a referee to be present for your upcoming match.

 

Proof Information

 

  • The conversation between two clans on AIM will never hold valid proof for this site.
  • The use of still images must show the scoreboard (Select Screen) clearly. Each players scores, server name, room name, and round count must be seen clearly to count.
  • The image must not be doctored or alter, any images that have been changed will not be used or valid.
  • In order to win a entire match, the winning clan must provide proof of victory for all maps to ensure the victory.
  • If you win a match through ties, you must provide video showing that the last round was played for that map.
  • If you believe your opponents will send in false proof please let the administration know ahead of time.
  • Only video proof will be accepted for the use of restricted weapons.
  • The forums are not to be used to show proof of clans cheating or glitching. The administrative staff is obligated to show proof to either of the two clans involved in the case of the ticket.

 

 

Crown Holder:

 

  • Crown Holder must war a top 25 clan once a week.
  • Crown Holder must have at least 3 matches played every week and at least one match every 3 days.
  • Failure to meet these requirements will result in the crown being given to your last opponent by default.
  • If any clan that is the current crownholder, does not report to the correct clan that they lost to first, they will be deleted. The leader will also be banned
