Qualifications of a Referee:

We are looking for some qualified, enthusiastic individuals to become referees for this ladder. Here are some of the requirements:

* A minimum of 16 years of age.
* A computer headset with AIM, and Skype installed (http://www.skype.com - Free program).
* A PC and console within close proximity to each other.
* Advanced understanding of in-game mechanics.
* Advanced knowledge of the GamingAhead website and the game rules.
* Ability to handle situations in a mature and respectful manner.
* Understanding of the forums and must be actively involved in the forums.

Job Duties:

What does a referee do?

The referee is the backbone of most arenas on GamingAhead. They are responsible for resolving in-game disputes as well as answering questions and concerns via AIM. Properly documenting any and all situations in which they are a part of ensuring quality assurance for GamingAhead users.

Oil up that Lancer, Gears of War 2 fans, because we've got a juicy rumor you'll want to dig your chainsaw into. One very thorough user over at the Gears of War forum deduced via Geoff Keighley's Twitter and an alleged Asian product page, that the Gears 2 DLC train won't make its final stop at Snowblind. It appears the train will keep chugging along to its next stop, "Dark Corners," which may be announced during GDC09 this week.
